Adventurers Wanted: A 250-Hour Epic Tabletop Roleplaying Game - Player Tickets - Edinburgh Fringe 2017

Sweet Holyrood - Holyrood 1
Theatre

Whether you've never played a tabletop roleplaying game before or are a seasoned expert, you can buy a player ticket for Adventurers Wanted.

Two player tickets are available for each hour between 10:00 - 15:00 and 17:00 - 22:00 every day of the Edinburgh Fringe Festival (except August the 24th and 25th).

Buying a player ticket does mean you're making a commitment to come and play in the game. Unlike audience tickets, it makes a big difference if a player doesn't turn up and makes it harder to run the game.

For those new to tabletop roleplaying games: you'll have your own character that you'll play in the game. You can choose the type of character you want to play, and we'll send you a customisable sheet with all the information you need to know about your character. Playing a character doesn't mean you have to act or perform - it's down to you how you role-play the character, and all the game needs is for you to describe what your character does. The game's played sat around a table with dice, miniature figures and maps, and there'll be three other players with you, playing their own unique characters. The Game Master will describe where your characters are, who they meet, and what happens to them; you get to decide what your character tries to do.

You will be sat at a table on a slightly raised platform, and there'll be microphones to help pick up your voice - this is purely to help everyone in the audience see and hear you. Our Game Masters and Stage Managers will be there to help you whenever you need it.

We will be filming and live-streaming each hour of Adventurers Wanted over the internet. By buying a player ticket, you are agreeing to the recording and broadcasting of the contribution given by you to be used in connection to the project, and all related media. You give all the permissions needed, including the waiver of your moral rights, to copy, exhibit, transmit, and broadcast your contributuon including your image without time limit in all countries in the world by all means and in all media. You accept that we may cut and edit your contribution and use it in the project (including using it to publicise the project and related online and offline projects and related publicity organised). This editing will be in accordance with current broadcasting regulations in the United Kingdom.
